We recommend that SUITS choose the CORE membership plan at checkout, unless they have engaged in significant prior theological education.

The CORE membership plan gives you access to these two WEEKLY teaching resources that amount to approx. 10 hours of digital content per month.

• MORPHE - Foundational hermeneutics and interpretation. Weekly video content (75 min.).

• TRIBE - Live processing of that week’s MORPHE videos. One hour of live video conferencing per week.

The plan costs three “creds” ($33 total/mo.) - about a cup of coffee per content hour. You can add optional CORE concierges to that, if you wish (more on that below).

Due to the vastness of highly pertinent and transformative content, MORPHE and TRIBE are designed to continue perpetually.

Descriptions and prices

The first two concierges listed below (MORPHE and TRIBE) are included in your membership plan.

They are followed by optional concierges that can be paid for by adding the appropriate number of creds to the monthly plan at check-out. Alternatively, optional concierges can be paid for by “bulk” purchases during checkout, now or later. Remember that the use and quantity of optional creds can be adjusted at any time - there is no pressure at all to “get it right” at checkout.

The required street creds quoted below do not include any expenses if you want us to visit your location. Expenses will typically only apply for assignments/events requiring us to travel outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN (area inside I-694 & I-494).

Digital resources will remain available to you as long as you have unused street creds in your account.

MORPHE

Included in your membership.

MORPHE is foundational for everything we do and is included in your membership. Every week, you get the following resources that will save you real time and inspire you at a challenging but somewhat popularized intellectual level. 

• 20+ min. of weekly, formative insights on interpretation - how humans interpret culture and how they become much improved interpreters of religious texts.

• 20+ min. of weekly, provocative theological stimulation as it relates to the video described above. An additional goal is to undercut much that has earned christianity a bad interpretive and theological reputation and to suggest more plausible (and acceptable) understandings. Traditionally, both churches and seminaries have been less than impressive in bringing vital new insights to people of faith. We are free to address that deficit and will certainly do so. Having said that, we are as much - if not more so! - about CONstruction as we are about DEconstruction

• 20+ min. of weekly, textual interpretation of a Biblical text. These are not longwinded lectures, but incisive updates on what you need to know about a text. Again, these videos relate directly to the other MORPHE content/videos of the same week.

between 10 and 40 credits (depending on duration - typically between half a day and 2 days).

EMBED

Typically about 230 - 270 credits per week of all-inclusive travel (incl. air travel [economy], a la carte meals, accommodation, local transport and educational programming).
